Whenever I see the Champion logo, I immediately get a case of nostalgia.
My Dad used to wear a navy blue Champion pullover when I was young; that trusty pullover was one of those items in his wardrobe that was a constant throughout my childhood.ย Now, whenever I see the Champion logo, I immediately get a case of nostalgia, transporting me back in time to western Pennsylvania, Friday pizza nights, helping haul logs indoors for our big red wood burner which heated the family home during those cold winters, or the many road trips throughout the east coast.
Nearly 20 years later, and Dad still has that trusty navy blue pullover – ‘though it’s seen better days, having withstood decades of use. Whenever I think of Champion, or slip one of their hoodies over my head, I always lovingly think of my Dad, nostalgia, and timelessness – to me, it’s so much more than a garment.ย How about you?
